I am a proponent of public transportation initiatives and have supported DASH, the Trolley, Carlyle bus service and co-chaired the City’s Transit Corridor Task Force which will bring BRT (and possibly Street Cars) to the City. A redeveloped Landmark Mall will create a transit center in the West-End.

I have no idea what a ‘submarket’ Master Plan is so I cannot answer this question. But if you mean a small area plan for the West-End I think the City has taken significant steps in this area with passage of the Beauregard Small Area and the Landmark Mall Plan.

I vote to move up the Eisenhower West Plan in the Planning department work schedule. We need a plan so developers know exactly what we want for future redevelopment in the West-End and on Eisenhower Avenue.

I do not support dedicating taxes from a specific development to certain projects. Any project or City-wide infrastructure project or service should be properly evaluated, prioritized and considered in the annual budget process.

There is no way to honestly answer that question. I have supported efforts by the City and AEDP to work with the landlord to find a tenant as quickly as possible.
