Frank Shafroth is the Director of Legislation & Intergovernmental Relations for the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board; he is an adjunct professor in the graduate school of Public Policy at George Washington University and the graduate school of Public Administration at George Mason University. He is a columnist for State Tax Notes. An attorney, he most recently served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Rep. Jim Moran. He has also served as the Director of Policy & Federal Relations for both the National League of Cities and the National Governors Association, as well as Assistant Counsel in the U.S. Senate Banking Committee. He is active with ALIVE in Alexandria, the father of three incredible kids, a graduate of Stanford and Georgetown Law, and coaches Masters Swimming at Chinquapin and referees Masters Soccer at Ft. Ward.
