Mango Mike Anderson has owned 22 restaurants in the DC area since 1975 including 15 in the City of Alexandria and has been a resident of the City since 1972.
HomeGrown Restaurant Group is a family run business with wife Donna (Sweet Fire Donna’s) and daughters Danielle and Chelsea actively working the restaurants. Currently, with partner Bill Blackburn, they own and operate six restaurants in the City. Pork Barrel BBQ, Holy Cow, The Sushi Bar, Sweet Fire Donna’s, Tequila & Taco and Whiskey & Oyster.
Anderson is the past Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce 2011, Chairman of the Small Business Development Center 2007- 2008, Business Leader of the year 1999, Alexandria Living Legends 2014 and earned his pilots license at age 68.

Rachel Stradling BSc (Hons) J.D. CP-FS REHS is a dynamic, adaptable and highly capable Environmental Health and Food Safety professional, with over twenty years of experience working with businesses and the community to help mitigate risk and ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of communities in the US and UK. Currently working as a member of the Senior Executive Leadership Team for Virginia Health Department (VDH), as the Division Director of Environmental Health and senior member of the COVID-19 Command Staff response team. Deeply committed to the future of environmental health programs and professionals in the US.
